I have been thinking about what it means to live a balanced life, the one conclusion I have reached is that it is different for everyone. We are individuals and with this we realise that there is no one rule, one diet that can fit all, one passion that makes us all happy and satisfied, it is a road of discovery we all have to make.
I am hoping that as you join me on this journey you will discover your balance.
We know we are made up of body, mind and soul/spirit, if we neglect one part the rest suffers. Have you noticed how easy it is to be healthy, eat right, exercise, be positive when you are happy? Is healthy living about eating only salads and going to gym for 2 hours a day? Have we put too much emphasis on what we look like and can we only be healthy when we have that perfect body? In this series of blog posts I am hoping that together we will discover answers to some of these questions.
The health of our body is a great meter reading of what is happening in the rest of our personal world. For me it is getting back to basics, learning to listen and love who I am first.
